The use of audio guides (whisper systems) is recommended for groups of over 20 people accompanied by a single guide, in order to avoid disturbing other visitors.

Tickets can be purchased:

  • at the Scuola Grande dei Carmini ticket office;
  • via the VE.LA. network;
  • at the Scuola Grande di San Rocco ticket office (jointly with their ticket, at a discounted price).

Religious Feast Days of the Scuola Grande

  • “Mercoron”, celebrated on the Wednesday after Easter;
  • 16 July, the patronal feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Carlo Monte (Our Lady of Mount Carmel);
  • 8 December, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.

The Scuola Grande also participates in all religious solemnities promoted by the diocesan Curia – Holy Week, St Mark’s Day, Corpus Christi, the Feast of the Redentore, the Feast of the Madonna della Salute – as well as the patronal feasts of the city’s other Scuole Grandi.
