The Statutes govern the institutional structure of the confraternity, defining its governing bodies and the respective offices
The current Statutes of the Scuola were adopted by the General Chapter on 24 November 2007, approved by the Patriarch of Venice on 1 March 2008 and registered in the Register of Legal Entities at the UTG-Prefecture of Venice on 1 February 2010.
The governing bodies of the Archconfraternity are:
- the Convocato or Capitolo Generale, comprising all the capitular members
- the Cancelleria, comprising 15 capitular members
- the Banca, which represents the Scuola on the occasion of public solemnities
- the Revisori dei conti, numbering 3 (2 permanent and 1 substitute), chosen from among experts in accounting matters. These are responsible for auditing the accounts.
